Ingredients
- 2 large Chicken Breast butterfly, and flatten
- 4 tbsp Chinese Cooking Wine or Beer
- 3 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1.5 tbsp Five-Spice Powder
- 1 tsp White Pepper
- 5 cloves Garlic grated
- 2 cups of Sweet Potato Flour
- 2 large Eggs
- 4 tbsp Corn Starch
- Seasoning Powder
- Chili Powder
- Paprika
- Five-Spice Powder
- White Pepper
- Garlic Powder
- Salt
Instructions
- Marinate chicken with soy sauce, Chinese cooking wine, five-spice powder, white pepper, and garlic for 20 minutes
- Mix corn starch and eggs; this will be the batter. Dip the meat in the batter and cover every part of the chicken with tapioca starch. Let it sit for 5 minutes
- Turn the heat to medium-high and fry in oil for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy
- Finish off by sprinkling a generous about of seasoning powder all over the chicken
