Ingredients
- 1 cup of taro flour
- 1/4 cup of warm water
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of vegetable oil for cooking
Instructions
- o In a large bowl, combine the taro flour and salt
- o Gradually add the warm water, mixing with your hands to form a soft, pliable dough. You may not need all the water, or you may need a little more, depending on the consistency of your dough
- o Knead the dough for a few minutes until it’s smooth and uniform
- o Divide the dough into small balls
- o Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add a bit of vegetable oil
- o Once the skillet is hot, place a tortilla in the pan and cook for about 1-2 minutes on each side, or until golden and slightly puffed
